About Me

My name is Jordyn. I am a college graduate from Charleston Southern University.

 

 

My passion is to serve the Lord where He sees fit. One area that He has laid on my heart is through rehabilitation. My dream is to become a physical therapist. However, that requires graduate school. So, in the mean time of taking a year off, I would love to gain more experience by getting hired as a PT aide (if only there were more jobs available...).

On July 11, 2012, I married my best friend, Keven, & (somewhat) high school sweetheart (we went to 2 different schools, a state apart). We met back in 2006 at a summer camp both of our churches attended every summer. After camp we talked for 7 months getting to know one another, until he asked me to be his girlfriend on February 28, 2007. Exactly 5 years after asking me to be his girlfriend, around the exact same time, he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him back at the exact spot we met in camp. I'm so thankful we met at a young age, and that we were even able to get married. All the Praise be to God!!

We moved back to NC this past summer, and have been continuing to trust in the Lord to guide us.

I started blogging back in February. I always wanted to blog, but with school I never found time. I love writing new posts because it makes me feel important, like I'm making a difference to the reader.

I look forward to when God blesses us with the opportunity to start a family down the road. I really, really, really love kids.

I'm also not too shabby when it comes to baking or cooking...however, I have yet to perfect throwing random ingredients into something to make it delicious. So, as long as it has a recipe, just call me Betty Crocker.

One last thing, I'm a HUGE OHIO STATE FAN. Win, lose, or smack talk from annoying SEC fans, I'll always bleed Scarlett and Grey.
